About Me

Katherynne Martin is a Canadian author raised in Southwestern Ontario, not far from the city of Toronto. A storyteller from a young age, she has been writing in one form or another for as long as she can remember, always carrying the dream of one day becoming a published author.

After raising her family, Katherynne chose to finally place that dream at the top of her priorities. With the loving support of her family and those closest to her, she released her heartfelt debut children’s picture book, The Twenty Second Love Hug.

Inspired by the science behind a simple embrace, Katherynne hopes her book will encourage families to discover the incredible power of a hug — and its ability to connect, comfort, and promote self-care.

With countless stories still waiting to be told, Katherynne is excited to continue sharing her meaningful words for many years to come.
